Dear Columbia neuroscience community,
You are cordially invited to a Kavli Mini-Symposium on Molecular Structure and Mechanisms in Neuroscience, which will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 12:30-2:30 PM in the Carson Family Auditorium at Rockefeller University (1230 York Ave). We will have a lunch reception from 12:30-1:00 PM outside of the auditorium and then three exciting talks:
- Julia Brasch, PhD (Columbia University, Honig-Shapiro Lab): Visualization of the clustered protocadherin self-recognition complex
- Joel Butterwick, PhD (Rockefeller University, Laboratory of Neurophysiology and Behavior): Cryo-EM structure of the insect olfactory receptor Orco
- Ji Sun, PhD (Rockefeller University, Laboratory of Molecular Neurobiology and Biophysics): Molecular mechanisms of KCNQ1 modulation and gating
